Hello,

I want to open the seriall midi port.

  // Get number of MIDI output devices
  uiAnzahlMidiOuts = midiOutGetNumDevs();   // is working fine

  // Get type, name of MIDI output device
  mmResult = midiOutGetDevCaps( ui, lpMidiOutCaps, sizeof(MidiOutCaps)
);  // is working fine

  // open MIDI port
  dwErr = midiOutOpen( lphMidiout, iSelectedMidiOut, 0, 0, CALLBACK_NULL
); // is working fine

  // then I want to use the function "midiOutLongMsg()", but before
this, you have to call the function
  mmResult = midiOutPrepareHeader( hMidiout, lpMidiOutHdr, Sizeof(
MIDIHDR ) );

the struct MIDIHDR must be filled. What to do with   MidiOutHdr.lpData =
?????;

any idea??
any example??
