Hi all,

As you may know, Sound Recorder in Accessories Program group provided
by Win XP is capable of recording .mp3 file directly from wav format by
using "Properties->Convert Now->Choose MPEG Layer-3->Ok".

I thought TMediaPlayer is from the Sound Recorder provided by Win XP.
However, I don't know how to run the above job in programming because
there is only one option in TMediaPlayer which is dtAutoSelect and
bringing PCM format file.

How can I do this job thru TMediaPlayer?

Or should I import the proper ActiveX control provided by Sound
Recorder in Win XP?
Actually I was searching for this ActiveX control in Delphi 7 IDE but I
couldn't find this in the list.

How can I do the same job in Delphi with the default components or
ActiveX control?

Please tell me your experience. It would be greatly appreciated.

Anthony
