I chose to default to GSM 6.10 at 11.025KHz because it has a bandwidth requirement of 2239 bytes per second, and yet retains a listenability about it, even for long periods of time. For audiophiles who still want a low bandwidth, I recommend Ogg Vorbis (mode3+) 11.025 kHz, 16 Bit, Mono, 22 Kbit/s with a bandwidth of 2750 bytes per second. Music actually sounds good with this one! The required OGG Vorbis ACM files for Windows are available on my website at http://www.jacobsm.com/oggvorbisacm.zip -- Mark Jacobs "Jonathan Benedicto" <jomitec@sympatico.ca> wrote in message news:41ca1479$1@newsgroups.borland.com... | What codec did you use, and what bandwidth requirements does it have. | | Thank you. | | Jonathan | | http://www.jomitech.com | "Mark Jacobs" <markj atty critical dotty co dotty uk> wrote in message | news:40ee9c96@newsgroups.borland.com... | > "Mark Jacobs" <markj atty critical dotty co dotty uk> wrote in message | > news:40cda44b$1@newsgroups.borland.com... | > | Now, my boss has asked me to programmatically stream anything going | > through | > a | > | particular network client's soundcard onto our LAN so that a supervisor | > can | > | "listen in" on the PC in question.
