Even for a custom sink, it would appear that you need to implement one of those three types. Which means implementing either IWMWriterFileSink/2/3, IWMWriterNetworkSink, or IWMWriterPushSink in addition to the base IWMWriterSink interface. Is IID_IWMWriterFileSink3 being requested both times QueryInterface() is called? What exactly do you need your custom sink to do in the first place? You never did explain that part yet. Gambit
