Media Encoding as a Service

Has anybody have windows media encoder that runs as a service.

I need something that will take a line input from the sound card,
encode it with the voice codecs, and provide it on a special port
number. All automatically at start up and restart encoding as needed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi:

You can try (using BCB2006/2007) a Web application made with Intraweb (now
called VCL for the WEB).
This allow to create a service that the user can configure/monitor/etc
trought a web page.

Saludos

You'll probably have to write it yourself using the Windows Media Encoder or
Windows Media Format SDK.
