USB Camera Image Size

Please Note : this is the second posting of this question to
this forum, with more detail, but as new topic question.

When I change the size of the panel and change the code in the
program (from previous posting), I am able to change the size
of the view from the camera, but both the Logitech, and
Creative will not exceed small sizes.
Logitech max @ approx 350 x 300 and
Creative max @ approx 320 x 240
I am able to reduce image size through program, but not enlarge.
The old Kensington on Win 98SE could enlarge to whatever requested
I went into the actual Creative && Logitech programs, changed the option to 640x480. Both cameras will show this OK,
but not in my program.
If I could enlarge to 640x480 would be OK, but would prefer the option of larger if possible.
Any Ideas ?
Thanks in Advance.
Andrew

Thank you to anyone who was working on this.
I have now figured it out.

Thank you.

What is the answer you came up with. It might help others in a future
search (plus I'm curious).

I added a few lines to the previously submitted code :

in my Button1 (Start cam) function:

  int       size;	// New Line
  CAPSTATUS CapStatus;  // New Line

    Panel_Video1->Visible=true;
    CaptureWindow = capCreateCaptureWindow("MyWindow",
      WS_CHILD | WS_VISIBLE, 0, 0, x, y, (HWND)
    Panel_Video1_Placement->Handle, 0);

    if(CaptureWindow)
    {
      // NEW LINES following
      capDlgVideoFormat(CaptureWindow);
      capGetStatus(CaptureWindow, &CapStatus, sizeof
        (CAPSTATUS));
      size = GetSystemMetrics(SM_CYMENU);
      size += GetSystemMetrics(SM_CYCAPTION);
      // END of NEW LINES
      ComboBox1->ItemIndex=0;
      if(capDriverConnect(CaptureWindow,
        ComboBox1->ItemIndex)) ....

Someday I hope to understand what I'm doing.

Hope this helps.

That didn't change anything. Maybe because you set "size" to something but
never use it to set something else.

If the settings through the actual camera program are set
to 640 by 480, (ie the Logitech program to capture video)
Then by adding those lines I can enlarge to this size in my
program.
