--------------------------------------- BCB-Tools.com - Latest News This is a BIG post. --------------------------------------- Hi Everyone, --------------------------------------- If you have not been to BCB-Tools.com recently, maybe you should, as there have been a lot of changes to the website over the past couple of months, reflecting recent circumstances. http://bcb-tools.com --------------------------------------- You can read the same Latest News as displayed below at the following link :- http://bcb-tools.com/Latest_News.htm --------------------------------------- Latest News --------------------------------------- 10th April 2006: --------------------------------------- 10th April 2006: I've recently updated the Welcome Page a fair bit, to much better describe our tools, their capabilities, and make it easier to "get into" the TDx_Library. Included on the Welcome Page is a link to an advanced DirectX 7.0a SDK demo, which shows various 3d graphics effects including lighting fx, water reflections, advanced 3d landscapes, and so on. Also included on the Welcome Page is some more general information about the TDx_Library, and easier to use links to more information about our tools and programming the TDx_Library and DirectX in general... We continue to work for no money... no matter what we do, no matter how much we change and improve the website, and tools, it does not seem to give us any real world income... For how much longer can we afford to do this? not much longer at all. Well, that is, how much longer can we afford to develop our software? Remember, time is money... It all depends on how much money we make. When we make say (1) full registration or pre-registration per week, we work fulltime and a lot of development gets done. When there is no income for a week, we have to put everything on hold while we earn a living elsewhere. When over 1000 people are visiting a day, it's pretty hard to understand how we cannot earn just (1) full registration or pre-registration per week or per fortnight... thats all we need, and we can grow from there... --------------------------------------- (FROM THE WELCOME PAGE) --------------------------------------- Welcome to BCB-Tools.com, home of awesome automagic C++ software development tools... scroll down... look around... How about this... * Awesome graphics capabilities, with thousands of images per second animating stuff all over all available screens... * Sounds and Music Blasting from all speakers all at once, using all sound cards simultaneously... in 3D too... * Shake Rattle and Roll with your force-feedback Joystick or Steering-Wheel or Aircraft Yoke at the same time... * Play with other people over multiplayer-internet or LAN or serial cable or modem... * Complete with photo-realistic realtime 3D graphics animation and rendering... Click here to read more... http://bcb-tools.com/Appeal.htm Please support our independant efforts to survive and grow and create more tools :- * By Registering our existing tools... "The TDx_Library" and "The BCB_Code_Generator" * or by Pre-Registering our future tools... "The TDx9_Library" * or by Investing in the future of our company... and help us take it to the next level... * or by Sponsoring Us, thus advertising your website to over 1200 C++ programming people per day... We can do the work, and create more tools, this entire website is living PROOF of that, we just need the money to do it... Please... Give Us Some Money Today... and help us grow and create more next-generation toolsets into the future... We can leverage each full registration or pre-registration of US$299 into a entire week of development effort... We can leverage investment money to the extreme, with each US$1000 paying for an entire month of development... Without registrations or investment money, we cannot develop our software, and must earn a living elsewhere... That's all we need, (1) registration per week, and we can take it from there, and grow BCB-Tools.com and everything TDx and TDx9 until they are the #1 programming solutions worldwide... Every last cent is a fortune to us, and we know how to leverage every last cent into Megabytes of Software Tools... All we need is a break, a chance to succeed, and thats exactly what we'll do. Now, imagine we could earn US$50,000 investment money, not all that much in the big scheme of things to companies or individual investors, but thats enough for us to leverage into completing the development of the entire TDx9_Library!!! Really, thats not all that much, US$50,000... thats 50 x US$1000... surely some of our 31,000+ visitors per month could spare US$1000 as a real-world investment in the future of everything we do... Thats what we are aiming todo... continue to improve the TDx_Library, and release the TDx9_Library... All to happen as soon as is humanly possible, the only limits we have are time and money... the work is no problem... there's enough work to last another 10-20 years fulltime for an entire team of developers... All we ask you for is a chance, please give us a little of your money, and help us make a real-world difference... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Making the best technology even better... Admittedly, someone had to create the BCB_Code_Generator too, and add some manual code enhancements to the libraries, but really, our libraries could not have been created without this incredibly useful tool. Available to component authors now for the first time after 8+ years of development... It allows an individual to maintain literally megabytes of incredibly complex code, very easily... Auto-Create and maintain your own fully documented Borland C++ Builder component libraries now... Tell Us What You Think... Got a question? Ask Us Your Questions... No Problems... Got some friends? Please Tell Them All About BCB-Tools.com Want to join the BCB-Tools.com team? Just send us an email and let us know what you can do... "Get Involved... help us create a software revolution... or should that be... software evolution?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Microsoft no longer supports the DirectX 7.0a SDK at all, and does not support the DirectX 9.0c SDK on any operating system other than XP, and they do not care about developers like us, who support all existing windows platforms, especially 95,98,ME,CE,NT and 2K, instead of just the latest and greatest version, XP, which is a shame... Borland are flogging off their compiler to whoever will pay the most for it, regardless of the consequences to companies like ours... hopefully whoever buys it has more forethought than Borland Corporation... You would think that these companies would see the immense benefits of promoting RAD DirectX wouldn't you? Or, at least, they could make a strategic investment and see us grow to the next level, or do >anything< to help us... But No, these companies cannot see the forest because of all the trees... They have no concept of the awesome power of RAD DirectX, and they even cannot be bothered to look at our website or evaluate our technologies, let alone actively partnering with us to try to expand awareness of everything RAD DirectX is capable of... they simply ignore us literally and do everything in their power to destroy our business... This leaves us all alone in the big, wide, bad world... Charting our own future, supporting other people's dead-end products so they can be used with the latest technologies to overcome the limitations of developing using dead-end technology... trying to breath new life into what we consider is some of the best technology ever invented... before they scrap it completely... Creating cutting-edge, next-generation toolsets that every programmer has always dreamed about... Reckon we'll succeed when Microsoft and Borland like to dominate the industry with out-of-date painful technology? We hope so... please help us create more by registering... or pre-registering... or investing... or sponsoring us... And keep us developing long into many future nights... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Please take the time to read through our website and realize that our next-generation, market-leading technologies will be viable for many years to come, and that we will support you every step of the way... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- More Information about the TDx_Library... visit http://bcb-tools.com ------------------------------------- Thanks for reading this email, your interest is very important to us. ------------------------------------- Darren Dwyer, BCB-Tools.com Pty. The reason you are not a multi-millionaire currently, is because of the lack of demand for high-powered multimedia applications. Even this newsgroup is infrequently posted to or read, compared to other Borland newsgroups. It may be something to do with the visual nature of the modern PC. When people are working, they only need musical accompaniment, not some singing, dancing fully animated affair, that would distract them fully away from their dull spreadsheet or whatever. That is why your wonderfully-crafted DX libraries have not sold as well as you were expecting. -- Mark Jacobs DK Computing http://www.dkcomputing.co.uk
