I think that I'm expecting something more from the WindowState than what it provides.

I added to the WndProc to monitor the form minimizing and
manually set the WindowState to wsMinimized. When I did that,
everything in the WinMain code worked correctly.

However, the application did not minimized to the taskbar.
Instead it minimized above the taskbar over the Start button.

Which API would that be? All I could find was IsIconic and
IsZoomed.
