Dear All: I am trying to build a code generator that is launched from w/in Textpad. The help doc says that I can pass the address of the active document's window as a command-line argument to my "tool." However, I am really interested in the selected text (or not) w/in the active window itself. Can any point get me started? TIA, Tim
