Hi again,

same problem as before but a new idea.

The problem was to read contents from another application/window
and retrieve some data like text from the window.

My new idea is retrive the hdc for the window( which I have successfully done and verified that it is the correct one)
when I have this hdc I would like to copy the information in some format maybe like a bitmap or something. Then by reading the color of each pixel i will make an algorithm to convert pixels to text.

My problem is, how do I copy data from the window, and then whatever format it is, how can I recognize the colors for each pixel?

any ideas would be grateful.
