Thanks Ed for your reply. I am really happy to see a reply from you. I tested this on all cases, in other words (while the browser is open, closed) and the same thing always happen. Sometime the history gets erased easily and sometime not!!! I even tested it on many machines starting from Windows 98/ Me/ 2000/ NT/ XP and using IE browsers IE 5.01, 5.5, 6 You see the problem is that it is not always failing to erase history, the real problem is that it sometime it erase history and sometime not, now even on the same machine this could happen!! This is really driving me crazy, no returned error from code, everything suppose to be correct!! The worst is that code is a part of a program I am selling on the net, so now I get complains from clients after they purchase that the program sometime is not erasing IE history, and I can't find any logic answer for me or them :( Please let me know if you have any ideas, I am really desperate to any ideas Best Regards "Ed Mulroy [TeamB]" <dont_email_me@bitbuc.ket> wrote in message news:4096b787$3@newsgroups.borland.com... > How are you testing if the history is still there?
