Hello. I have an application that contains an .rc file with a STRINGTABLE. This stringtable is thus added as a resource to the compiled EXE. Most recently, the need arose to alter some of the strings because a user group wanted alternative formulations of certain status messages. I decided to put those strings into a DLL. One could therefore say, that the EXE holds the default strings whereas the DLL has modified ones. What I would like to do is to load the stringtable from the DLL if it exists somewhere in the search path. If not, the stringtable in the EXE should be used. Is there a "standard" way to accomplish this? Kind regards, Malte -- The above e-mail address is not valid. To contact me, please use my real e-mail address: malte AT t DASH online DOT de
