What is the printer resolution set to?   GetCharWidth() returns the number
of pixels it takes to render a character on the specified canvas.  Computer
screens typically only use 72 pixels per inch.  So fr a screen rendering, it
may only take 7 pixels to render a character.  Whereas on a printer set to
300+ DPI, for instance, it could take considerable more pixels to render the
same character in the same inch.
