Hi,

You can grab a handle to the taskbar by using the FindWindow() function; 
and then hide it via the ShowWindow() function...

   HWND const hTaskBar = FindWindow("Shell_TrayWnd", NULL);
   ShowWindow(hTaskBar, SW_HIDE);
