In previous versions of BCB, the default STL library was RogueWave. BCB6 uses STLPort by default instead. STLPort does things differently then RW does. The warning in question is occuring internal to STLPort, it is forcing the alignment to its own settings for its internal use, and then resetting the alignment back to its original state before returning to your code. The compiler is warning you about the alignment change, but as far as your own code is concerned, the alignment will always be the same. You can verify that for yourself by placing "#pragma alignment" statements around any STL headers you are including. Gambit
