I tried today to make some accounts on XP. If the user hasn't admin rights he cannot even manualy edit ODBC connections. But the mistery is that sometimes the user which has admin rights CAN change it manualy but the SQLDataConfigDataSource() fails ?!. It happens mainly on the machines where more than one OS exists, but I haven't tested that more... Vladimir.
