The code you're looking at is for WinNT/XP,etc. I changed it for write access, but at this point, I don't care about that. Look below it to the section for Win98/ME -- the access was 0,0 -- tried "GENERIC_WRITE, FILE_SHARE_READ | FILE_SHARE_WRITE," I still got the same system error message. I tried again with reg.reg_Flags = 0x8000 and replacing VWIN32_DIOC_DOS_DRIVEINFO with 6 per your comments -- same error message. Any further ideas?
