Just saying "it doesn't work" says nothing about the actual problem you are
experiencing.  You need to always be very specific.

Your current code is using Int 26h, which it should only be using for Win 95
prior to OSR2.  Everything else (Win95 OSR2+,Win98, Win Me) should be using
Int 21h Function 7305h instead.  That is not an old API, thus the OS should
not be complaining about it.  If it is, then you need to show your
uncommented and trimmed code that is producing the error.

You are not doing any kind of OS version testing.  If you read that article
again, not only do you have to detect Win9x/Me vs. WinNT/2K/XP, but you also
have to detect Win95 OSR2 vs non-OSR2 as well.  Have a look at the following
