You just need to produce concrete code with it first, and then explain why it doesn't work for you. You keep jumping back and forth. Pick something and stick with it, and then we can work on making it operate correctly. The first thing you need to do is make your code do the necessary OS detection. You haven't done that completely yet. Then you need to write the code for each possible scenerio. Then we can go from there.
