How did you take such measures? I mean, which function did
you use? Anyway, I think GetSystemTimeAsFileTime() doesn't
give a value you can use at once as GetTickCount() does. You
need to call some other function or do some operations
before. So, basically, you should evaluate all the
operations needed in my opinion. However, your tests
surprised me, I really didn't think the call to
GetSystemTimeAsFileTime() takes less time than
GetTickCount().
