I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't expect the BIOS to know about
Windows PNP devices.

Try these functions to get a list of available drives.

GetLogicalDrives()  or
GetLogicalDriveStrings()

You might then be able to use GetDriveType() or
IOCTL_DISK_GET_DRIVE_GEOMETRY (or the other IOCTL_ funcs of the
DeviceIoControl() API) if you need to know the drive details.
