Yes I did, it returns the adapterfamily type. I'm also reading several other
values from the structure without any problem so it's nothing wrong with the
structure.

I've solved the problem in another way now, I'm using GetAdaptersInfo to
obtain the adapter identifier (AdapterName in the PIP_ADAPTER_INFO
structure). Then I read the correct displayname from the registry. But I'm
still confused why this value is empty in the MIB_IFROW structure... clearly
the same value should be there?
