Two things.

1) Only your code

2) Only new code

It's really not worth bothering with fixing all the occurrences in the
escaped Windows 2000 source. (Anyway, that's not an Open Source project,
so don't bother fixing it.)

Slightly more seriously, it's one of those things that, if it currently
works, it's likely to carry on working, and when it fails, it'll be a
compilation failure which will be very noticeable.
