Bill, I know generally how swapping works and what is happening in my case is not a question of "how long does it take for an application to restore". When I click to my application's icon on Windows taskbar simply nothing happens - there's no disk activity, nothing is paged in or out. CPU usage remains near zero... Maybe something is wrong with message queueing? BTW, with other programs except mine everything is OK. Say, minimized MS Word easily restores after some more or less intensive swapping. I just do not understand why my application suddenly becomes deaf only when being minimized.
