Really I get this code from my codecentral applications (WMI).
And when I wrote it I had some problems with Win98.
It was impossible to install WMI Core on russian version 
Win98 (WMI Core for rus. ver. is absent or was absent then).
English WMI Core did not work on rus. ver.
So it was impossible to test my samples for Win98.
(I do not say even about incompatibility Variant type in BCB5 
and BCB6, it is another problem.).

Beside these, I find strange comments in objbase.h:

You see - "// These constants are only valid on Windows NT 4.0".
Off course, may be it comes from Win95 but I am not sure.

So I decided to put these comments in my source.
Its reference rather to WMI than CoInitializeEx.
