Hi JD,
Yes I am talking about the system tray (those icons beside the windows
clock), and I am not using the BCB sample as I heard before that it is quite
buggy, so I am handling the whole issue by code.
Concerning my problem, actually I have tried both ways RegisterHotKey and
WM_SETHOTKEY and I am really confused what is wrong, as everything works
normal as long as the window that receive the message is not minimized to
system tray, but once I minimize the window to the system tray I start
facing weird problems...in other words when I press the hotkey when the
window is minimized to the system tray, sometimes it work and sometimes not
! which is really confusing me...
Do you think that the problem might be in the code I use in minimizing my
window to the systemtray ?
