Ok.

The SWEN virus harvests email addresses from newsgroup posts.  It uses
address it has found both as destinations for viruses it sends and as the
return addresses for the virus-laden emails.  It is not uncommon for someone
to receive over a hundred emails, each containing a copy of that virus IN A
SINGLE DAY!

To test what was happening I created an email account on yahoo and only used
it for one thing - as my return address in 14 replies on the newsgroups, 4
on Sept 22 and the rest on Sept 27.  I have received hundreds of SWEN virus
emails in that box and, while the number has dropped, they continue to this
day (I received 6 yesterday).  (I've also received a couple of emails in
that box offering to increase the size of my breasts but my wife says she
likes me just the way I am <g>)

When I saw what you'd done to your email address, I assumed that it was in
response to the virus.  As you can see from my return address,
dont_email_me@bitbuc.ket, I am trying to avoid attracting the virus.
