Thanks everyone for your help with ReadFile() and WriteFile(). This has speeded up my read/writes several hundred fold. I now am having some difficulty with timing: I want to say: WriteFile(...) // to tell the peripheral to send me data while (!readytosend); // wait until the peripheral is ready ReadFile(...) // read what the peripheral says Where can I find info on RTS/CTS or DTR/DSP? I don't see this in the SDK help menu. Also, I am not sure that the peripheral reads or writes these signals... I guess I'll find that out if I try to use them.
