There isn't any.  If directory listings have been disabled, there is no way
to determine any of the filenames, let alone how many files there are,
except through links places on actual pages.  Even if directory listings are
enabled, you still will have difficulties, as listings formats are not
standardized, and in fact many servers that do support it use custom
formats.
