Hi In�s,
It is very easy to drop a timer on a Form and use this, but it is far
better
if your application is multithreading, and instead uses threads.

What I do, is invoke the wizard to create a thread, and take this thread
and put the declaration for it in the same place as the form I want the
tread to run in AND take the generated code and use it in the Form.cpp 
file.

Threads are a better way of doing what appears to be many things at once
and you can just place a Sleep call in the thread loop to create the 
delay you want as in the timer...actually this is recommended.

There is some effort in understanding threads but it will be worth it.
