I have attached a zip file to a message with the subject "Wav Play" in the attachments group, borland.public.attachments It contains source, make file and executable for a program which plays wave files. It is just a quicky, written in C++ and using the Win32 API and not the VCL. It's just a demo and has quirks - for instance it searches all your drives for wav files before showing its window and the listbox horizontal scroll bar doesn't work. The only readon I posted it is that the program works both on my XP Pro machine and on my Win95a machine. If it does both of those it should also work on your WIn98 machine. I cannot certify that it is the same for BCB5 since I am running 6 and do not have 5 mounted, but I remember version 5 rather well and do not think there is anything in it which would not work with that version. .
