All I am sure off that those popup windows are regular browser windows, not
messagebox, anyway here is the url where I was testing you can see it your
self http://www.popup-blocker.info/testpage/test2.html please go down to
the (Element Event Test) this test generate popup windows (regular IE
windows) once you pass by your mouse pointer over the image (on Enter and On
Leave).
Also after you check the url, I though of an Idea to overcome this problem,
please find below the code I wrote to solve the mouse over problem (I really
need your opinion on it)..
case DISPID_HTMLDOCUMENTEVENTS2_ONMOUSEMOVE: //On Mouse Move
{
CComPtr<IDispatch> spDisp;
spDisp = pDispParams->rgvarg[0].pdispVal;
if (spDisp)
{
CComQIPtr<IHTMLEventObj, &IID_IHTMLEventObj> spEventObj(spDisp);
if (spEventObj)
{
long nMouseBtn = 0;
HRESULT hr = spEventObj->get_button(&nMouseBtn);
if (SUCCEEDED(hr) && nMouseBtn == 0)
{
*m_pbUserClickedLink = FALSE; // Kill the popup
break;
}
*m_pbUserClickedLink = TRUE; // Allow the popup as it was generated
based on user command/click
}
}
}
Another question remy, when you check the url I submited up here, you can
see that there is a test on IE window page refresh popup, so I need to block
any popup window generated based on pressing the refresh button (or pressing
F5), so how I can detect that Refresh Button / F5 is pressed on the current
IE page...?
Looking forward for your reply
