I'm writing a program that uses fopen() and fread() but I'm having a
problem. The program only sees a total of 336,058 bytes of a file that is
51,693,886 bytes. Am I doing something wrong? BTW, I'm using fopen()
because I'm going to build the program on Linux in addition to Windows.
FILE *fp;
const int read_chunk_size = 16384;
char buf[read_chunk_size];
unsigned int bytes_read;
int total_bytes = 0;
fp = fopen(filename,"rt");
do
{
bytes_read = fread(buf,1,read_chunk_size,fp);
total_bytes += bytes_read;
}
while (bytes_read == read_chunk_size);
fclose(fp);
