If you look in iptypes.h, you will see that PIP_ADDR_STRING is a pointer to
another structure:
typedef struct _IP_ADDR_STRING {
struct _IP_ADDR_STRING* Next;
IP_ADDRESS_STRING IpAddress;
IP_MASK_STRING IpMask;
DWORD Context;
} IP_ADDR_STRING, *PIP_ADDR_STRING;

> For that matter, what is time_t, BYTE, "struct _IP_ADAPTER_INFO* Next;"?
'time_t' is a typedef for 'long', and represents a time value, in seconds,
that have elapsed since January 1, 1970 00:00:00 AM. Have a look at the
time() function in the C library for more information.
'BYTE' is just a typedef for an 'unsigned char'. In the case of the Address
member of IP_ADAPTER_INFO, it is an array of bytes, up to a maximum of 8,
where each BYTE is another portion of the overall adapter address.
GetAdaptersInfo() returns a linked list of possibly multiple adapters.
'Next' is a pointer to the next IP_ADAPTER_INFO instance in the list.
