Hi, > (1) What is parent window of controls within a Group Box? TGroupBox is derived from TWinControl so it has its own window. All controls inside the group box become child windows of the group box window. > (3) Which is should be the first created? Group Box or controls? Because of (1) you would first need the group box. However, I often have controls on my form and later I decide to collect them inside a group box. You can accomplish this by cut&paste. Select all the relevant controls on your form via Shift/Click then Cut, create a new TGroupBox, select the group box and Paste the controls. regards, Nick
