Hi Remy,

Thanks for your help, I've added the following code under DISPID_NEWWINDOW2.

CComQIPtr<IWebBrowser2, &IID_IWebBrowser2> m_spWebBrowser2Tmp;
m_spWebBrowser2Tmp = pDispParams->rgvarg[6].pdispVal;
int i; //1= tool bar exist 0= does not exist
m_spWebBrowser2Tmp.p->get_ToolBar(&i);
if (i != 1) { m_spWebBrowser2Tmp.p->Quit(); } else { }

Although I am facing really a strange problem and I really need your advice
in it, now when I load for example url www.aol.com, the pop-up screen don't
show up anymore, but loading the site is still slow, in other words there is
no difference between eliminating the pop-up screen and keeping it as for
the site loading time, meanwhile I saw other programs built with BHO
technology, and there is a big difference in time when pop-up screen is
eliminated...so can you tell me please what exactly I am doing wrong
here....

thanks so much for your help and support...

BR
