Start by getting rid of the individual windows header file includes and
doing this:

#include <windows.h>
#include <process.h>

No VCL or C++ dependency is introduced by them.

Also look at these functions in the help.  One of them should be used to
create the thread instead of the Windows API function CreateThread.  The
function prototypes are found in the header file process.h

_beginthread
_beginthreadNT
_beginthreadex
