Something with C linkage will have a leading underscore added to the name to
form the public name which the linker uses. Therefore _IID_ITTAPI could
show up in
any source code that is intended for either of C or C++ as IID_ITTAPI

I suspect that you have not included the correct header file. If you cannot
find where something is in the help files then use the grep tool that came
with the compiler.

  ------------------
  C:\Program Files\Borland\CBuilder6\Include
  >grep "IID_ITTAPI[;$ ]" *.h
  File tapi3if.h:
  EXTERN_C const IID IID_ITTAPI;

  C:\Program Files\Borland\CBuilder6\Include
  >
  ------------------

Include the file tapi3if.h
