I think  the header file declares IID_ITAPI to be extern const, implying
that it is a constant available from somewhere, possibly in a header that
then leads you to the place where the storage is declared.

I looked at all the files in the LIB tree including LIB\IDL and LIB\PSDK as
well as in all the DLL's from \WINNT on down (Win32 can export int sized
variables from DLL's) and didn't find it.  Since I'd nothing to offer, I've
not replied hoping that either someone on here will know the answer or
someone in the other places where I've asked about this will know and I can
forward their answer.
