Sorry - some corrections


Created FILE/NEW/SERVICE APPLICATION



Accept defaults but change to No runtime packages or libs

Add the following to the Execute method


while(!Terminated)
{
   Beep();
   Sleep(5000);
}

Compile & save

Install service
Start service
>
beeps every 5 seconds as expected

Stop service

Error: Unable to stop service. Service did not return and error. This could be
internal Widows error or service. If persist - contact admin

I am logged on as Admin

Tried on two different systems with same result.

Have to reboot to stop service

Why is the service not stopping and how can I stop it?
