Please show your ACTUAL code, copy/pasted as-is, including instantiations
and declarations.  You have not shown enough code for anyone to see what you
are doing, let alone to reproduce the error.

That is not what I said earlier.  There is nothing wrong with using the
constructor, your earlier code snippet merely suggested that you were not
assigning the correct variable.  The constructor is the appropriate place to
create the TStringList (and free it in the destructor, of course).
