But Borland compiler imports it. As long as it doesn't actually get called, you should be fine. Win9x has stub functions for the Win32 Unicode functions that aren't implemented on Win9x (which is most of them). The stub function exists but will always return an error. Even if a program imports such a function, the OS loader can load it. Obviously if a program depends on calling the function and receiving a non-error result, there will be a problem.
