I want to use USB Port Adapter (Port Replicator: USB->USB,COM,LPT) for adding still one COM port to my notebook. My program uses asynchronous serial port i/o. Via standart COM port all works fine. But via Port Replicator I can write data to and can't read data from the devices. What is the difference between standart COM port and USB Port Adapter? How use USB Port Replicator for asynchronous serial port i/o?
