Thanks.

Great minds think alike (just joking.. I had to struggle)
I did a grep on the headers, included the header, and then did a
directory wide search of the dll which I found in a place that
indicates to me it might not be "standard".. two placed actuallly, one
another vendors:

C:\WINDOWS\~CORELPH had the four dlls that were connected (i.e. I
could not link until I had all four)
and also in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC98\lib on my other machine
(xp with some development tools)

I tried using both sets, and neither returns and data to me. Am I
doing something stupid? I am running on XP.

I finally made the calls and the returned empty lists. I could not use
the other versions I found ( i.e. instead of FGetNetworkDrivesList I
also tried GetNetworkDrivesList ), but the libs/dlls did not evidently
expose them because i got a link error.

I thought it might be because I am trying to do this from a service,
but I also got the same results from a "regular" gui app I threw
together.. i.e. it puts up a blank message box... :

void __fastcall TForm1::Button1Click(TObject *Sender)
{
  char szDrives[2048];
  char szDrivesLocal[2048];
    memset(szDrives,0,2048);
    memset(szDrivesLocal,0,2048);
    FGetNetworkDrivesList(szDrives);
    FGetLocalHardDrivesList(szDrivesLocal);
    MessageBox(NULL,szDrives,szDrivesLocal,MB_OK);
}
//-

Should this work?
