| Win98 comes with IE4 preinstalled, not IE5. Did you go to Microsoft's
| website and install a newer version of IE?
|

     Hello & Thanks Remy,
Yes, I installed Office 2000 before
     Office 2000 contains IE 5.5.???

|
| What you need to do is follow Microsoft's documentation and check the
actual
| Shell version that is available so that you can utilize the appropriate
| functionality for versions that actually support what you want to do:
|

    Please see my example.

|
| Case in point. Obviously, if you try to use a new feature in an older OS,
| it won't work, so you have to use alternative approaches to get the
results
| you are looking for. Such as looking in the Registry manually for those
| values you cannot query with an available function.
