"Safari" <Safari@alloymail.com> wrote in message news:3f64f85d@newsgroups.borland.com... > I want CSIDL_??? not Registry! I give up. You are *not listening*. I have told you EXACTLY what you must do. There is no other options. When certain CSIDL values *are not available* on a given system, you *must* resort to the Registry manually. Besides, SHGetSpecialFolderLocation() goes to the Registry anyway. Everything is in the Registry. SHGetSpecialLocation() simplier makes it easier to find things so you do not have to find them yourself, but sometimes you need to do exactly that anyway. I'm sorry, those are your options, there is nothing else. Gambit --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
