Can you give some clues why you think this will change the run time 
behavior of LoadLibrary?  I can not see why this would affect the 
problem, especially as the compiled program works on Win98SE for my 
tests.  Also, the appropriate portion of winbase.h, which is where 
LoadLibrary is defined, as far as I can tell, does not have conditionals 
around it for winver.  It only has conditionals for unicode and non-unicode.
