I'm assuming that TXControl is an ActiveX control? The thing to be careful about is that you have to be weary of threading models and apartments and such when dealing with threads. You can't just access arbitrary ActiveX control across threads directly without taking certain precautions first, such as ensuring proper marshaling between apartments if you have the control instantiated in one thread and accessed in another.
