If all he wants to do is trigger a specific event handler, then just call it
directly, as event handlers are class methods like any other:

    Button1Click(NULL);
or
    Button1Click(Button1);

If he wants to trigger the OnClick of a particular button without calling
the OnClick handler directly, then he can call the button's Click() method
instead:

    Button1->Click();

A ListView already has built-in column headers and header buttons.  Simply
use the ListView in report mode, and just make sure that the
LVS_NOCOLUMNHEADER and LVS_NOSORTHEADER styles are not specified.  Then, to
know when a header button has been clicked on, simply intercept the
WM_NOTIFY message from the parent's window procedure and test for the
LVN_COLUMNCLICK notification.
