Handle to Bitmap.  HBITMAP
In my own code, I open an existing BMP and copy it to the window.
	BITMAP bm;
	hBmp = LoadBitmap(hInst, bitmapname);
	GetObject( hBmp, sizeof(BITMAP), &bm);

In your case, you'd need to create a BMP of the appropriate size
(figured from the screen dimentions) and pass it in so you can get a
handle to it.  I would think reading up on the "CreateDIBSection"
portion of GetObject() would help. Something like this sounds
promising...
	hBmp = CreateDIBSection(....);
	GetObject( hBmp, sizeof(BITMAP), &bm);
